INSURANCE AND FEES FOR COUNSELING
ARS Counseling is currently an in network provider with the following insurances:
- AmeriHealth of NJ
- AmeriHealth Administrators
- Keystone Health Plan East
- Independence Blue Cross
- Cigna/Evernorth
- United Behavioral Health/Optum
- Aetna
- Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of NJ
Please note, individual insurance plans vary. Check with your insurance provider for your specific copay or deductible.
ARS Counseling also takes private payment. We can create a superbill for you to submit to your insurance provider if ARS Counseling is out of network. Sliding scale fees are also provided for those who are paying out of pocket.
Please note, at this time, we are not accepting Medicare plans, or Medicaid plans (Aetna Better Health or Horizon NJ Care).

Intake Session
An intake session is designed to gather information about your needs, create a treatment plan, and structure attainable goals. Each intake session is 1 hour.

Individual Session
Ongoing sessions are for you and your counselor to work on your specific goals. Each individual session is 50 minutes.

Family Session
Family sessions are structured around improving communication with family or loved ones. Each family session is 50 minutes.
A sliding scale fee is available for those who are paying out of pocket. Please contact us for more details.
